ATSUSHI to sit out EXILE TRIBE's dome tour in autumn

1: 2014/04/01(火) 13:54:33.44 ID:???0
EXILE's ATSUSHI has announced that he will not be taking part in the EXILE TRIBE dome tour EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR “TOWER OF WISH 2014" this autumn.

ATSUSHI comments: "I want to see the potential that EXILE TRIBE has which I won't be able to confirm unless I get off the stage and see it for myself. TAKAHIRO, SHOKICHI, and NESMITH will be leading the way for vocals, while 3rd Gen J Soul Brothers and GENERATIONS will give emphasis to each team's character. I want to see how they shine, as their senpai". He has discussed this with HIRO, and HIRO accepted this decision, stating that "This is a positive proposal which looks like a move for the future of EXILE TRIBE".

ATSUSHI has emphasized that he will not be participating in EXILE TRIBE's tour this year only, and this doesn't mean that he'll be quitting EXILE. He will continue to take part in EXILE's projects, TV programs, magazines, and radio shows; and has promised that he "will definitely come back as a much improved ATSUSHI performing together with the new EXILE" once EXILE does its tour in 2015.

EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR “TOWER OF WISH 2014" will be participated in by EXILE and their brother/sister groups. The schedule will be announced on a later date. EXILE will be renewing their structure on April 27 as they welcome new performers. They will be releasing a new single and album in July titled AMAZING WORLD. The theme for their tour next year will revolve around this new album and will be called EXILE LIVE TOUR 2015 “AMAZING WORLD”.

ATSUSHI just released his 2nd solo album called Music in March. He will be having a solo arena tour from April 12 to July 13.

GACKT puts on roller skates and covers Hikaru GENJI's song

1: :禿の月φ 2013/12/16 15:22:02
Singer GACKT held his school festival tour The 90th Kamui♂Gakuen de Semenasai at the Chiba port Arena from Dec. 13~15.

This tour kicked off in 2009 as an event limited only to his fan club members. The concept of this event is "school festival" where GACKT acts as the "president of the student council". He wears a school uniform and black-framed glasses, while everyone from the staff to the participants are required to attend in school uniform.

As the chime for the first part rang, they sang the school hymn for Kamui Gakuen. Gackt then emerged from the back of the audience seats and walked on a red carpet.

At the second part of the event, they started a concert where GACKT acts as the main vocalist of the keion (soft music) club's cover band. The band performed T.M.Revolution's White Breath, a B'z medley, and many others. He even wore roller skates and ran around the stage as he covered a Hikaru GENJI number. He apparently did rigorous training on roller skates for this. There was also a surprise guest on the X Japan covers as GACKT cosplayed YOSHIKI and did some intense drumming, which led to cheers around the arena.

Rock band RADWIMPS' vocalist Yojiro Noda fractured the metacarpal bones on his left hand. According to their manager, Noda fell down and hit his left hand in the process, and the swelling did not subside. Upon examination, it was revealed that he had fractured it, and might have some effects on the shows they will be having towards the end of the year.

Noda himself comments: "I failed when I was practicing how to fire a Kamehameha". The manager adds: "Luckily, it was fractured neatly and it will be healed after some time. Even he himself almost doesn't feel any pain, and despite some inconveniences, he is still living life normally". It will take 2 months for it to heal entirely, which will have an impact on Noda playing the guitar and the keyboard.

About this: "RADWIMPS will not be performing half-a$$edly in front of everyone, no matter what. The members are deciding how to distribute the parts among them, as they practice to be able to perform according to their normal standards, or even better".

The manager continues: "Here are the comments of the 4 members. Satoshi: 'Ei!', Kuwa: 'Yaa!', Takeda: 'Toh!', Yojiro: 'Fwei!'. Translation of this is [We are really excied about our coming performances]".

RADWIMPS LIVE TOUR 2014 will also begin on February 5. "We will decide on how to go about things depending on his recovery, but we will be proceeding with it according to schedule."
