They gave it their all. Humidity at 30 degress, and temperature at 31 but they were under the shade.
Japan moved much better in this game compared to the first and 2nd games.

Advancing to the knockout stage is a difficult thing.
There's no shame at all in losing at the group stages.

Brazilians have very keen eyes when watching football, so they probably couldn't take how our players were moving without intent against a depleted Greek squad.

There's not a lot of news about Tennis' Nishikori if he wins or loses, but why is soccer treated specially?

Summary of the tournament
Had a close match with Ivory Coast who didn't have old man Drogba, then got scared once he came on and conceded 2 goals.
Couldn't attack against a 10-man Greece, and Greece's players said "It was easy since they weren't attacking".
Played a close match against Colombia's reserves, then got scared once 1 of their aces came on and conceded 3 goals.

I did think that we'd do much better, though.
I would have at least hoped that we would lose by just a goal.

It's laughable now how people were thinking prior to the World Cup that we could win the first 2 matches and then draw against Colombia

最後に世界との差を見せ付けられたのは不幸中の幸いだったな
We might have been able to get out of the group stages if we just showed this kind of stance from the first match, but the fact that we weren't able to is also an indication of our abilities, and there's no more point in saying these things now.
It wasn't a tournament where we didn't have any regrets, but the positive that we can take out of this is that we were shown how big of a gap there still is between us and the world at the very end.
