Chinese media reports that GACKT is a drug abuser: "Gimme a break. It's all so stupid, it makes me sad"

A Chinese newspaper reported: "ASKA of Japanese unit CHAGE & ASKA was arrested for drug abuse. The police's next targets are visual-kei singer GACKT and singer Miki Imai. 

GACKT (40) updated his blog on the 7th and wrote, "What's going on with the international media? The Internet is scary. Anything from useless things to lies are written, as if they were all the truth. And then these make their way across the seas and just get blown out of proportion. I'm already getting sick of it all. Really, gimme a break. So are you telling me that writing groundless shi+ like this is freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and freedom of the press? Rubbish. It's all so stupid, it just makes me sad.".

Aki Nishihara announces her marriage to a non-celebrity and is pregnant

Actress Aki Nishihara (26) announced on her blog entry on the 18th that she has gotten married to a person who is not from the entertainment industry. She also announced that she is currently pregnant, and is expected to give birth in August.

Here are some excerpts from her official blog: "I have gotten married to the man with whom I have been together for a long time last March 17. I have known him from the time we were teenagers, and he is not a member of the entertainment industry. I have also found out that there is now a small life inside of me. I'm scheduled to give birth in August. I am really looking forward to seeing my child grow up!". Nishihara has also expressed her desire to keep on working and says: "We're still both inexperienced, but we would like to nurture a warm family as we support each other through thick and thin".

Nishihara started out as a model for magazines, and went on to play the lead in Fuji TV's Oto no nai Aozora, and was in 2005's Hana Yori Dango, 2008's Last Friends, and 2011's Wataru seken wa oni bakari, and the morning drama Umechan Sensei.

Yuko Oshima talks about her graduation on her blog

Yuko Oshima (25) has updated her blog on the 4th and talked about her reasons for graduating from AKB48 and for announcing it at the Kouhaku. 

This is Oshima's first update in the new year. Along with her new year's message to her fans, she also proceeded to apologize by saying, "I think I surprised everyone after suddenly announcing my graduation at the very end of the year 2013."

Keiko Kitagawa's blog entry: "The unforgettable event 10 years ago"

"I was a regular highschool student who did not excel at anything, and I haven't even decided on what to do up to the night before the audition.
"Before going to bed, I finally decided after thinking it over. I cut a sweet potato in half, wrapped it in cling wrap and put it in my bag together with a carving knife.
"On the day of the audition, I felt out of place when I was mixed in together with all of these pretty girls who were so talented as they sang, danced, performed ballet, and calisthenics. I felt miserable as I just silently started carving the sweet potato in front of the judges, and for some reason I passed.
"I'm still indebted to Shirakura-san and Director Tasaki who were kind enough to let me and my sweet potato stamp through.
"With these bonds that I have created, I am really grateful of the fact that I have been truly blessed with the people around me who have helped me as I am still standing here after 10 years. I still cherish these miracles and meetings with other people up to this day"
