Anne and Masahiro Higashide went on an "overnight date" (Josei Seven)

Anne (28) and Masahiro Higashide (26), who portrayed a married couple in NHK's morning drama Gochisousan, had a "sleepover date", as reported by Josei Seven. According to the article, after the two had drinks and dinner at a bar within the metro, they spent the night over at Anne's place. The article also featured a comment made by a regular customer of the bar that goes: "(Higashide) is ready to get married anytime".

The pair was seen shopping together during the New Year, but their respective agencies denied the relationship back then. This time, Anne's agency commented: "We're leaving private matters up to her", while Higashide's agency said: "We cannot give out any comments regarding his private life", as both sides did not deny the report.

Anne's agency doesn't allow her to star alongside Saki Fukuda?

Anne's morning drama Gochisousan (NHK) has been doing very well, maintaining its high ratings since the first week. Anne has always had a very clean and pleasant image attached to her. However, it seems that Anne would turn sour at the mention of the name of a particular actress.

"That is Saki Fukuda, the actress whom Oscar Promotion pushed so hard for at one point. Fukuda was the lead in the movie Sakura no Sono (2008), which was one of Anne's first projects as an actress. Oscar pushed for Fukuda heavily during this time, featuring her in all sorts of dramas and movies. Fukuda thought that it was all thanks to her abilities and reportedly became conceited as she kept showing up late, and even cancelled filming. Anne was a person who gave huge importance to the atmosphere on location and she couldn't stand this attitude shown by Fukuda. She was fuming mad and said that she'll never do a project with Fukuda again." - (production staff)

And with the movie becoming a huge flop, Anne's agency was extremely mad at how her movie debut was one that they would rather forget. 

"It's not just Anne, but other major actresses such as Pinko Izumi do not want to star alongside Fukuda. Even Oscar couldn't handle this and shifted from Fukuda to Emi Takei. That was when Fukuda finally realized her standing and changed her attitude, but it was all too late. It has even become difficult to barter her in together with other talents. And because of this experience, the agency must have strictly warned Emi Takei and Ayame Gouriki and taught them the do's and don'ts within the industry.

Anne's ideal husband is a 'warrior'

Heroine of NHK's Gochisousan Anne (27) was on NTV's Oshareism (Sunday-10) and talked about her views on marriage.

Host Shinya Ueda (43) of Cream Stew brought this topic on and when it was brought up that her brother Dai Watanabe (29) got married when he was 23, Anne says "When I was 20, I also thought that I'd get married when I turn 23. But before I knew it, I'm already 27. It's like 'Hm?' for me. So will I get married until I reach 30? I honestly can't imagine it. I still don't have a grasp of reality".

She also said that her ideal marriage partner is "someone who's like a warrior". "I would like to welcome him back into the house with my 3 fingers down on the floor. I'd also like to use a flint to send him off. Someone who'd say something like 'follow after thee' and would help pull me about". 

She also talked about Ken Watanabe, her father. She said that Watanabe does not want to meet a boyfriend in a casual manner. She also said that Watanabe will of course have to meet the guy if they are to be married, but also revealed that he doesn't want to meet just one person.

Masahiro Higashide's mom talks about Anne's stayover during the New Year

"Masahiro's older brother was here as well for the new year, along with other friends. Despite that, the tablods only took pictures of Anne and Masahiro together...... That was so cheeky."

This is what Masahiro Higashide's mother has said about the "New Year's date" reported about Anne last week.

"Every New Year in our house, we cook miso-based ozouni. We also have traditional New Year's dishes, and Masahiro told me that he would be inviting some friends over, to which I said, 'Of course, they're all welcome'. It was my first time meeting Anne-san, and she helped me bring out the cooked food. She really was such a wonderful woman." 

A morning drama insider reveals how the two decided to spend the new year together.

"It was during a small chit-chat together with the staff towards the end of 2013. Higashide-kun asked Anne-san, 'How are you going to spend your new year?'. Anne revealed that it would be pointless to make traditional dishes by herself, and had no plans, so Higashide said: 'Would you like to come over to our house and join our New Year's feast?'. Without any hesitation, Anne said, 'I'm coming!'."

NHK morning drama Gochisousan's actress Anne (27) and actor Masahiro Higashide (25) were caught by weekly magazine Josei Seven as reported in the issue released on the 6th.

The picture shows the two shopping together at a home center near the house of Higashide in Saitama prefecture.

Anne and Higashide were both at the Kouhaku Uta Gassen as they introduced Yuzu who sang "Ame nochi hareruya", theme song of the morning drama, as a couple. 

Anne's agency commented on this: "We have heard that he's one of Anne's close acquaintances since he is one of her co-stars in the drama". Gochisousan will be entering the 2nd half of the story, and will show the struggles of Anne's character as a mother of 3.

Anne (27) and her co-star Masahiro Higashide (25), both starring in NHK's morning drama Gochisousan are apparently not on good terms.

"Honestly, the two are in an awkward situation. When the ratings are this high, everyone would normally be all smiles on location, but this isn't the case with Gochisousan. Anne is always irritated right from start to finish. And the more the ratings go up, the more she becomes grumpy. The staff are about to give up due to all the negative vibe that Anne has been emitting these past few weeks. And naturally, Higashide gets isolated because of this." - (program insider)

Gochisousan's ratings have constantly been going up, as it has exceeded 21% for 10 weeks and counting, easily breaking Amachan's average of 20.6% in the process. And NHK's offices are in a festive mood because of this.

"The ruckus that this has made far exceeds that of Amachan. NHK executives have been going to Osaka's studio day in and day out to bring presents and sweets. It's really all thanks to Anne." - (NHK representative)

And Anne's attitude changed from November when there were rumors about her romantic involvement with Higashide on the Internet.

Christel Takigawa to marry Yukiyoshi Ozawa this autumn (Nikkan)

Christel Takigawa arrived at Narita Airport on the 10th, fresh from her stint at the 2020 Olympics Presentation and Announcement event in Buenos Aires to cheers and applause. 

She will now be concentrating on her marriage preparations as she and actor Yukiyoshi Ozawa, son of world-class conductor Seiji Ozawa, are 'scheduled' to get married this autumn. The two have already been in a "near live-in arrangement" in a luxurious apartment within the city. Both have been taking care of their pet dog, doing household chores while the other is away, and are already like a married couple. 

A close acquaintance of the couple revealed to Nikkan Sports that the two are planning to submit their marriage contract in October or November this year.
