Natsuna reveals that she has just gotten over the mixed reactions about Jun to Ai

1: 声なき声に力を ★@\(^o^)/:2014/06/27(金) 21:20:02.81 ID:???0.net
Natsuna was chosen as the heroine of NHK's morning drama Jun to Ai in October 2012, and was at the center of all the criticisms. Once they wrapped up, Natsuna revealed that she was "on the verge of a breakdown" on her blog, and it was only recently when she has managed to get over her failures.

Natsuna looks back and says: "I wasn't just just on the verge of depression, I literally broke down. There were a lot of mixed reactions to the drama even while it was on air, even after it ended, and I felt like I was living through all those criticisms which were aimed at me. Those were really tough times.".

Jun to Ai's ratings averaged 17.1%, and isn't exactly bad when you compare it to others in the past 10 years. But it came after Umechan Sensei, a drama that averaged over 20% -- a feat that wasn't achieved in the 18 series that preceded it -- and was succeeded by Amachan, a drama that became a social phenomenon, which in effect highlighted Jun to Ai's shortcomings further.

"I literally didn't want to do anything after we finished shooting, and had no motivation at all. Even if I did do something, I didn't have the confidence as I was paranoid that everyone will still think that I'm 'the girl who had a mixed reception in the morning drama'. I didn't want to appear in front of people too much at that time. I even considered seeking medical attention." She was afraid of taking the next step, but the core fans of Jun to Ai helped her suppress all the negativity.

This was at her handshake event to commemorate the release of her picture book last January. "I read all those letters they compiled from the core fans of Jun to Ai. I went home, read them, and choked since I cried so much... But that made me feel refreshed and helped me move on."

V6 Yoshihiko Inohara has his house renovated

1: かばほ~るφ ★@\(^o^)/:2014/05/28(水) 11:40:27.22 ID:???0.net
V6's Yoshihiko Inohara (38), host of NHK's morning infomercial show Asaichi is apparently having his home renovated.

According to the current issue of Shukan Josei, Inohara's "Asaichi castle" spans 300 sqm, with 2 floors and a basement. He started having his house renovated to prepare for the birth of his second child with wife Asaka Seto (37). The living, dining, and kitchen which were on the 2nd floor have been moved to the 1st floor as they are having a new children's room created.

And the reason why they can afford to have their home renovated is because of his prosperous career. Asaichi has consistently been running away with the ratings compared to the other programs in the same time slot, as Inohara's popularity has been soaring up high.

"The salary at NHK is much lower compared to what others are getting at commercial networks. Inohara only earns \800,000 per episode which isn't a lot, but that still amounts to 4 million a week and 200 million a year. He's also in a number of commercials which net him 1 million to 5 million per appearance. Inohara has been very popular with the housewives, and will continue to earn steadily." - (TV station insider)

1: 変えてみよう ★@\(^o^)/:2014/05/15(木) 08:59:17.19 ID:???0.net
Anne (28) and Masahiro Higashide (26), who portrayed a married couple in NHK's morning drama Gochisousan, had a "sleepover date", as reported by Josei Seven. According to the article, after the two had drinks and dinner at a bar within the metro, they spent the night over at Anne's place. The article also featured a comment made by a regular customer of the bar that goes: "(Higashide) is ready to get married anytime".

The pair was seen shopping together during the New Year, but their respective agencies denied the relationship back then. This time, Anne's agency commented: "We're leaving private matters up to her", while Higashide's agency said: "We cannot give out any comments regarding his private life", as both sides did not deny the report.

Yuriko Yoshitaka wants to host the Kouhaku together with Yukie Nakama

1: 禿の月φ ★ 2014/01/07(火) 14:17:30.00 ID:???P
Actresses Yuriko Yoshitaka and Yukie Nakama were at a studio in Yokohama for the press conference of NHK's upcoming morning drama Hanako to Anne.

Yoshitaka was asked what she would do if ever she was offered to host the Kouhaku to which she replied: "If I'm the host, I think things would turn into a mess. And when that time comes, I would like to host it together with Nakama-san".

Nakama, looking a bit perplexed, smiled and answered back, "If I do get invited, I will do my best to help and support her, though...".

Yoshitaka also said that she's having trouble speaking in English in some of the scenes. "It's a good learning experience for me, but I want it to end as soon as possible... I become discouraged with the English-speaking parts".

The presscon was also atended by Miyoko Asada (housemother of her dorm in Tokyo), Rie Tomosaka (English Teacher) and Rin Takanashi (classmate).

Masahiro Higashide and Anne on a date at Higashide's parental home

1: 禿の月φ ★ 2014/01/06(月) 05:31:54.83 ID:???P
NHK morning drama Gochisousan's actress Anne (27) and actor Masahiro Higashide (25) were caught by weekly magazine Josei Seven as reported in the issue released on the 6th.

The picture shows the two shopping together at a home center near the house of Higashide in Saitama prefecture.

Anne and Higashide were both at the Kouhaku Uta Gassen as they introduced Yuzu who sang "Ame nochi hareruya", theme song of the morning drama, as a couple.

Anne's agency commented on this: "We have heard that he's one of Anne's close acquaintances since he is one of her co-stars in the drama". Gochisousan will be entering the 2nd half of the story, and will show the struggles of Anne's character as a mother of 3.

Gochisousan may be doing well, but Anne is apparently irritated at...

1: 急所攻撃(兵庫県) 2013/12/21(土) 21:15:24.89 ID:3mUKbjAi0
Anne (27) and her co-star Masahiro Higashide (25), both starring in NHK's morning drama Gochisousan are apparently not on good terms.

"Honestly, the two are in an awkward situation. When the ratings are this high, everyone would normally be all smiles on location, but this isn't the case with Gochisousan. Anne is always irritated right from start to finish. And the more the ratings go up, the more she becomes grumpy. The staff are about to give up due to all the negative vibe that Anne has been emitting these past few weeks. And naturally, Higashide gets isolated because of this." - (program insider)

Gochisousan's ratings have constantly been going up, as it has exceeded 21% for 10 weeks and counting, easily breaking Amachan's average of 20.6% in the process. And NHK's offices are in a festive mood because of this.

"The ruckus that this has made far exceeds that of Amachan. NHK executives have been going to Osaka's studio day in and day out to bring presents and sweets. It's really all thanks to Anne." - (NHK representative)

But what really is in Anne's heart?

"She's disgusted at her partner, Higashide. Anne had to take the initiative during early stages of filming due to Higashide's inexperience." - (drama representative)
And Anne's attitude changed from November when there were rumors about her romantic involvement with Higashide on the Internet.

"Higashide stands 189cm tall, Anne is 174cm, and they really make a good couple... There were reports that the two were dating. She apparently heard this from a staff, and she just lost it." - (showbiz pro staff)

TOKIO's Taichi Kokubun to become the face of TBS' mornings from spring 2014

1: かばほ~るφ ★ 2013/11/24(日) 11:05:58.73 ID:???0
TOKIO's Taichi Kokubun (39) will become the main host of TBS' informational morning show that will begin in spring. This will be the morning show that will replace Hanamaru Market (Mon~Fri 8:30AM) which will end in March. Kokubun has had the opportunity to host a lot of programs before, but this will be the first time he will be hosting a morning show.

He was chosen because of his ability to take charge, his likability, as well as his clean image. The title of the program is yet to be decided.

Kokubun has had experience in various genres such as variety shows, sports, travel, cooking, as well as educational programs.
His skills for taking charge is regarded highly, as he has won the Galaxy Award in May of 2006 (Association of Broadcast Critics). He was recognized for his contributions as a host to TV Asahi's Aura no Izumi and TBS' talk show R30.

He also has a clean image that is necessary for being the face of mornings. He has previously won the Cotton Award, an award given to distinguished personalities with pleasant images. He was also the main caster for Fuji TV's coverage of last year's London Olympics, as he has proven that he has the composure to deal with sudden occurrences.

The long running morning show Hanamaru, which has lasted for 17 years, has announced that it will end by March next year. Hanamaru became popular with all the lifestyle segments and promotions, but according to staff, the new program will be a variety informational show that is more news and entertainment-oriented.

Back in 2008 when Kokubun had regular shows on all channels, including NHK, he was asked about having a daily program from Monday to Friday. He commented back then: "I haven't thought that far, but I'll do my best".

1: 三毛猫φ ★ 2013/11/18(月) 14:27:00.67 ID:???0
NHK has announced some details concerning their morning drama for the autumn-winter season next year. The title will be Massan.

It will be based on the lives of Masataka Taketsuru and his wife Rita Cowan. Taketsuru supported Sapporo Olympic's "Hinomaru Air Group", and founded Japan's whiskey industry. The drama will revolve around this non-Japanese heroine who endures the hardships of life with her husband, as they express the "beautiful, never-say-die spirit of the Japanese people".

Similar to Amachan which paved the way for Rena Nounen, this drama will be holding auditions for the heroine beginning January of next year, and will finalize their choice around February to March. The screenplay will be written by Daisuke Habara, winner of the exceptional screenplay award at the Japanese Academy Awards for the movie Pacchigi!, and the best screenplay award from the same award-giving body for the movie Hula Girl.
