Netizens: "Murder scene caught on Google Street View!" → Police: "For real!?"

Google's Street View is showing a murder scene! --- After a British publication reported such an incident, CNN set forth to get the details of this 'case'.

The place is Edinburgh in Scotland. When you zoom into the map, you'll find a man in red overalls down on the ground, as another man is standing above him. The man has an axe in his hand, and is looking at the camera with a calm face.

The name of the man on the ground is Dan Thompson, the owner of a car repair shop on the street that has been running for 30 years. The 'killer' was his mechanic, Gary Kerr. If you zoom in further, you can see that Kerr has a smile on his face, and Thompson revealed that it was all staged.

Flashback to August 2012. "I happened to see the Google Street View car running and realized that it was coming this way in 30 seconds. I threw myself on the ground and Gary grabbed a pick axe handle from the garage.".

The scene was posted on Google Maps, and Thompson recalls that some of his clients called in and had a huge laugh. Police also came to investigate the place, but fortunately one of the female officers was his client so "they came in smiling, had a really good laugh, and left in 5 minutes".

Thompson states that Google hasn't contacted him, but he's "certain that they're happy because that's free promotion for them!". He was disappointed though that he wasn't able to do anything when the Google car passed again on May 29. The reporters tried to contact Google but gave no comment on the news.

Anime censorship on TV: Even Doraemon?

People have noticed how Shizuka-chan's nude scene was changed in the TV broadcast of the movie Eiga Doraemon -Nobita no himitsu dougu hakubutsukan- on TV Asahi.

The edit was made in the scene where the hyper vacuum cleaner sucked in Shizuka's clothes, including her underwear. Light beam effects were added on these cuts to hide her more sensitive parts.

Anime shown on TV have employed various methods to hide sensitive parts such as one's nipples or crotch area by using light, or steam and such. These censorships are not done on DVD and Blu-ray releases, as well as cable and satellite broadcasts.

Indeed, it is indicated in the broadcasting standards of the Japan Commercial Broadcasters Association that "Full nudity is not to be allowed". But even so, Shizuka-chan's naked bathroom scenes have always been a staple in Doraemon. This movie was shown in cinemas all over the country last year and was seen by countless children. And it was evident that this scene was not vulgar nor would induce any sort of sexual arousal whatsoever.

Kyoko Fukada and Keiko Kitagawa to have a kissing scene in the movie "RoomMate"

Kyoko Fukada and Keiko Kitagawa were both in attendance for the completion screening and presscon for the movie RoomMate, in cinemas on November 9. Fukada and Kitagawa have a kissing scene towards the end of the movie, and was the first time for both actresses to kiss a woman. When they were asked what their thoughts were, they said, "It was soft", as they looked at each other and chuckled in embarrassment.

Kitagawa comments that right before they filmed the kissing scene, "My heart pounded when I learned that I'll be kissing Kyoko-chan. I felt so ashamed after we did it". Fukada on the other hand comments, "I was nervous. But the staff were also very nervous".

The movie is based on the 1997 novel of the same name written by mystery writer Aya Imamura (1955-2013). Harumi (Kitagawa) and Reiko (Kitagawa) hit it off, start sharing a room, and live a happy life, but Reiko suddenly starts acting inexplicably.

Despite being a suspense movie where you'd expect a tense air on location, Kitagawa looks back and said, "She's a senpai, but Kyoko-chan treated me like a friend who's my age, and it felt like I was in school". Fukada also comments, "Keiko-chan strengthened the cohesiveness of the girls. I really had a lot of fun".

Others in attendance were Kora Kengo, director Takeshi Furusawa, and rock band androp.

TBS receives complaints about Ayame Gouriki's peeing scene in Kurokouchi

The TBS drama Kurokouchi has only just started, yet already it has received complaints from the viewers.

The scene in question came in episode 1. The female detective Seike, played by Ayame Gouriki, wet herself after getting surprised due to the gunshot. Kurokouchi, played by Tomoya Nagase, then proceeded to take a photo of this on his smart phone. This photo was then used by Kurokouchi in episode 2 to blackmail Seike saying that he would "pass the photo around unless details of the investigation were given" to him. Some viewers apparently found this as a form of sexual harassment and power harassment.

According to one of TBS' staff: "We received complaints of contempt regarding the wetting scene, and ethical complaints as to how a male detective treats a female".

On the Internet, some people have been praising the said scene, but some have said that the producers only did this for publicity. "The story is robust in this drama that has an outlaw as the lead. You can say that this drama has been very bold in going against the conventional drama formulas by even showing a dead woman's entire body without even hiding the breasts. And the scene where the character wet herself isn't that horrible that it should be considered a problem by the BPO (Broadcasting Ethics & Program Improvement Organization), so I think that they just wanted to create buzz."

There were some comments on the Internet saying, "I'll watch this every week since I was able to see Gouriki wet herself". The first episode got 12% which is pretty average, but there are also some people saying that Gouriki wasn't bad at all in this, even if she may have quite a lot of haters.

According to some reports, Gouriki's agency did not oppose to her wetting herself in the story, and that they even said "it's alright if it really is necessary in the story". "And Kurokouchi's partner is a man in the original manga, so fans of the original wouldn't have approved of Gouriki being cast here. Perhaps her agency had to give the go signal to these indelicate scenes in exchange for forcing her to be in the drama."

The BPO did not give any comments regarding this. Even TBS refrained from commenting further, stating, "We have received the opinions of some of our viewers, but we will not be commenting on this matter".
