Katsuhisa Namase and Eiko Koike return in the Legal High finale

Katsuhisa Namase and Eiko Koike will be coming back in the finale of Fuji TV's Legal High (12/18).

Namase plays Choichiro Miki, rival of Kensuke Komikado (Masato Sakai), while Koike plays Kimie Sawachi and Masato Yano plays Takao Ide -- all three coming from the Miki Law firm. They have only appeared in the first episode of this season, and went on a trip around the world after consoling Komikado who lost a case for the first time, but will be coming back for the finale and will play a huge role in the outcome of the story.

When Namase was told about public sentiments like, "Legal High is nothing without Namase and Koike......", he commented, "That's exactly true".

"But if there will be a 3rd season, we might still not be in it again (laughs). The difference from Season 1 is that we're not in the drama and because of that, things have become more extravagant". Koike follows this up by saying: "Because simpleton opponents like us aren't there anymore. We were probably too shallow, and the scriptwriter Kosawa-san probably wasn't able to write something up".

Ryoko Yonekura's Dr. X Season 2 debuts at 22.8%

Episode 1 of Dr. X ~Gekai Daimon Michiko~  (TV Asahi, Thursday at 21:00) got 22.8% in the Kanto region. Season 1 of the same drama recorded the highest ratings in 2012 (24.4%, finale) and has taken the top spot this season among the first episodes of all the commercially broadcast dramas.

Legal High 2 episode 1 gets 21.2%

Legal High Season 2 (Wednesday 10 pm) starring Masato Sakai and Yui Aragaki got 21.2% for its first episode. This is higher than the first episode ratings of recent hits like Hanzawa Naoki (19.4%) and Kaseifu no Mita (19.5%).

Legal High 2's completion screening and presscon

Masato Sakai (39), Yui Aragaki (25), Junnosuke Taguchi of KAT-TUN (27), Masaki Okada (24), and Ken Matsudaira were in a movie house in Tokyo for the completion screening and presscon of Legal High 2 (starts October 9, Wednesday at 10PM JST).

Sakai will be reprising his role as Kensuke Komikado; the quick-witted lawyer who has never lost a case he himself has handled. Sakai admits that this is a very exhausting role for him and comments: "These are the times when I either memorize my dialogue, or recite my lines every single day. I make it a point not to over-exert myself since it gets really tiring. I do not speak outside of my role. I also don't smile. I lower my tension as much as possible".

They started filming in late August. He even has a dialogue this time that will remind people of Hanzawa Naoki.
"I'll kick your a$$ even if you didn't kick mine! I'll kick the a$$ of people who insist on their innocence! I'll just kick the a$$es of anyone and everyone!"

The first season was broadcast in the spring of 2012, with the final episode getting 13.4%.

Ryoko Yonekura returns for Doctor X sequel coming in October

Ryoko Yonekura will be starring once again as Michiko Daimon in Season 2 of Doctor X ~ Surgeon Michiko Daimon, TV Asahi Thursdays at 9pm.
