The return of Goro Inogashira -- Kodoku no Gurume Season 4 to start in July

1: エタ沈φ ★@\(^o^)/:2014/05/20(火) 08:42:33.28 ID:???0.net
Late night drama Kodoku no Gurume (TV Tokyo) will make its return this July after a year of "starvation".

Kodoku no Gurume, a food documentary drama series, is about a personal import agent, Goro Inogashira (played by Yutaka Matsushige), who goes on an endless journey in search of good food. All shops and restaurants shown in the drama are actual restaurants as viewers have been flocking to those places that have been featured to have a taste of the food featured on the show.

Matsushige will once again reprise his role of Goro as the "lone gourmet" and eat to his heart's content. Season 4 will focus on "returning to its roots". The staff will search for the restaurants and the food that they want Goro to eat, and this season will once again feature "yakiniku" which has appeared in every season to date. And not just the city, Goro goes on various business trips and will visit places such as Hakone.

Matsushige comments: "They didn't find anything wrong with me during my general checkup so I'll be doing this again. With 36 episodes already, we've run out of restaurants and things to feature. We might have to reuse some of the scenes we did before. And when people turn 51, they don't eat as much as they used to. I might have to ask a stand-in to take my place during the dining scenes. If that's all fine with you, then please put on your pajamas and brush your teeth first before watching this drama.".

Erika Sawajiri to star in a local channel drama again after 8 years... Fuji TV's "First Class"

1: 禿の月φ ★ 2014/03/07 05:29:49
It has been revealed on the 8th that Erika Sawajiri (27) will be playing the lead in a local commercial channel drama for the first time in 8 years. She will be playing the role of a fashion magazine editor in Fuji TV's First Class (Saturdays at 11:10 pm) which tells the story of how women put one another in different classes within society.

8 years has passed since she played the lead in TBS' Taiyou no Uta. And following her divorce at the end of last year, it seems that "Erika-sama" has officially marked her return on local TV.

Her "betsu ni" comment at the press conference for her movie in September of 2007 made headlines for the wrong reasons. She then struggled with the divorce procedures from her husband "Hyper Media Creator" Tsuyoshi Takashiro (49), and also pulled out of the PR activities for her 2012 movie Helter Skelter due to her physical condition. Sawajiri didn't have a lot of good things going on for her, and her only leading role in a serial drama during this time was for a short series on BeeTV's online broadcast from February to April of 2012.

The drama First Class tells the story of "mounting women" or women who imply that they are better than others through various gestures and actions. The story is set in the editorial department of a women's fashion magazine. Chinami Yoshinari (Sawajiri), who was working at a textile and clothing shop, was able to realize her dream as she managed to get into the editing department, but was made to start off doing chores and errands. Chinami works her way up against the other personnel until she becomes the editor of the department.

Sawajiri comments: "There's fierce competition among women, and I'm playing the role of a character who keeps winning despite all the troubles she has to go through. I am hoping that this will become a 'song of hope' to all the women out there. Please look forward to it.". A Fuji TV staff also comments: "You'll be able to see a lot of sides to Sawajiri-san here, from being all in tatters after all the attacks thrown at her, to standing up despite all the opposition and beating her opponents.".

Her boyfriend will be played by KAT-TUN's Yuichi Nakamaru (30), while her "opponents" will be the model, played by Nozomi Sasaki (26), the editor, played by Nanao (25), the assistant editor, played by Rieko Miura (40), and the editor-in-chief, played by Yuka Itaya (38).

Ayame Gouriki (21) and Hiroshi Tamaki (33) will be starring together for the first time in TV Asahi's late night drama Watashi no kirai na tantei* which will start in January (Friday nights, 11:15).

*(The private detective whom I hate)

The original story comes from Tokuya Higashigawa, the same writer who wrote Nazotoki wa dinner no ato de. This story is a part of his Ikagawa-shi series. The screenplay is written by Yuichi Fukuda, known for his unique style in Kodomo Keisatsu.

The story takes place in Ikagawa-shi, a fictional town, as Gouriki will play a college student who loves mysteries, while Tamaki will play an eccentric detective who solves "ikagawashii" (suspicious) cases.

Gouriki comments: "I personally love mysteries! I want to be in a drama that will make people burst out in laughter together with a cool and pleasant Tamaki-san".

Tamaki comments: "It's my first time playing a detective, so I want to have fun portraying this character. Gouriki-san has a bright and energetic image. The story has a pretty strong comedic taste, so I hope that both of us can create that kind of atmosphere".
