This will pick up from the previous storyline, 3 years after Mamoru Takagi, played by Sadao Abe (44), adopted the twins left behind by his best friend who passed away. This time, both Kaoru (Ashida) and Tomoki (Suzuki) are in 4th grade as the story will focus on their interactions with their actual mother, played by Mayu Tsuruta (44). The talking dog "Mook" (Miniature Schnauzer, male, 4) will be returning and once again play a vital role in the story.
Abe comments: "The story will be packed with events, including first crushes, dreams, and a wedding". Mana comments: "I'm so excited already about the prospect of playing this role again! Please look forward to it!". Fuku comments: "I shall do my utmost best to bring smiles to the faces of everyone watching.".

It'd be better if they stopped doing this kind of thing, but I'm pretty certain that they just don't want to produce any more flops with newer stuff.
But if they keep on flopping even with these past hits, it will just be like running through the fortunes of everyone who's worked so hard before and ruining the legacy that they built. So all the mistakes which have been brought forth by the people they have now should be paid back by these same people.

Sadao and Ashida-Pro won't be meriting from this. Fuku Suzuki will, though, because his dramas and variety shows have been continuously flopping. I would have preferred it if they used that kid in Tonbi who kept saying "Otoshan" instead of Fuku.
I'm predicting that the story will start with Aya-chan and Marumo's wedding, and then give birth to twins of their own, and end there.
I think it's not an overstatement even if you say that Marumo was Fuji's last big hit. These 2 kids have become major household names in just the span of 3 years.
