I never heard them perform it live.

I think they used to play it once in a while. "Dried Out" is a nice song.

I also play the guitar and I want a Rickenbacker too. Don't you think that the front and rear pickup sounds are really different from each other? That's what's so good about it.

Yes, he's especially amazing in the new song "Alchemist". I cried in the "Ahhh! Ahhh! Ahhhhhh~!" part in the final chorus.
I only have their album Sou

They have released a lot of albums, but each one is totally different, so please do take a listen to their other albums as well.

I see. I like intense songs, so what do you recommend?
It will depend if you can accept their album Green Chord, that's pretty important for what they released afterwards. It was a bit impossible for me.
If you like intense songs, I think you'd like the albums Loop, Equal, and and world. And just like >>40 said, the albums released after that aren't for everybody. Please try to listen to them first!

Platanus is a nice song.
I personally think that ACIDMAN has no bad songs.
My personal favorite is "calm"

I like how they interpreted the beating heart in that one
ACIDMAN also has good instrumentals, so I'll post the ones that have music videos.
"walking dada"
The music video of this one will make you dizzy LOL

Last is "the light".
The music video for this is beautiful.
The reason why I only chose songs with music videos is because ACIDMAN's videos have deep meanings in them and are so beautiful, so I wanted you to feel the world that ACIDMAN creates not just with your ears, but with your eyes as well.
They're a magnificent band, with each album telling a different story. It would make me happy if you could get to know more of their songs through this thread. Thank you for taking the time to read this self-gratifying thread that I just made.

The amazing-ness of music video for "Mawaru, Meguru" is out of this world.
I think they won an award from the Agency of Cultural Affairs for that, right?

That MV really is amazing. I didn't know that they got an award. It leaves you confused after watching it.
Whenever I go to their concerts, there's a high percentage that Ohki isn't feeling well

It will be huge news when he removes that.
Satoma's cap comes off in an instant, though

They're so nice and civil when they're talking about bands (real musicians). LOL
ReplyDeleteI guess it's because the general public takes them seriously as musicians.
DeleteIt's the same all over the world. People here in the States don't take 1D seriously, but they hail the likes of Luther Vandross.
Never knew them, tried clicking one of the videos and ended up listening to all the ones posted here! Wow, just wow! Of all these I think I like Free Star or Sekitou. Thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteBut isn't his hat already removed in that picture below and one of the videos above? LOL
