1,000 bags of potato chips that contained Nana Mizuki concert lottery stubs illegaly disposed of; violator arrested

A large amount of potato chips were disposed of in Kobe City and Akashi-shi of Hyogo prefecture, as the Hyogo Police arrested Ikki Fukumoto (25), an office worker who resides in Hyogo prefecture's Uozumicho Shimizu, for illegal dumping.

The suspect disposed 89 boxes, totaling to about 1,000 bags of potato chips (total weight of 208 kilos) between May 4 and May 23 in 6 areas within Kobe City and Akashi City, such as in the woods and in empty lots. The suspect comments: "I did buy a lot of these, but I didn't know what to do with them so I just dumped them".

According to the police, the potato chips came with entry stubs for a chance to win seiyuu Nana Mizuki's concert tickets, as Mr. Fukumoto only cut the stubs out and did not eat the contents. Entries were only valid until the end of May.

A Johnny's talent punches a woman in the face on the JR Ikebukuro station platform

November 14 last year, Shuukan Bunshun discovered that a Johnny's talent punched a certain Ms. A (20s) in the face on the Saikyo line platform of the JR Ikebukuro station. The woman was badly wounded from this incident and required surgery. 

The name of the Johnny's talent is Hikaru Iwamoto of the group Snow Man.

"Ms. A was originally a die-hard fan of Iwamoto, and has always followed him for a couple of years now. She spent most of the money she earned from her part-time jobs to attend concerts and purchase goods. Ms. A followed him on that day as he was coming home from the rehearsal studio, which led to the talent getting irritated and punching her at the station." - (acquaintance of Ms. A)

After Ms. A was checked up at the hospital, it was discovered that the orbital floor of her right eye socket and the inner wall was fractured. Johnny's Jimusho has admitted the incident, but has yet to issue an apology.

Yuya Tegoshi appointed as NTV's main caster for the FIFA World Cup

Yuya Tegoshi of NEWS has been appointed by NTV as their main caster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup (June 12~July 13). 

Tegoshi has been a caster for NTV's coverage of the FIFA Club World Cup since 2012. Tegoshi comments at the press conference: "It's the tournament that everybody in the world is waiting for, and I personally have been involved in soccer much, much longer than I have with the entertainment industry, so as someone who's soccer-crazy, this event has been an aspiration of mine. It has also been one of my dreams to spearhead NTV and share to everyone how wonderful the sport is, and it really makes me happy that this dream has been realized.".

Tegoshi has already had a lot of chances traveling overseas for his regular program Sekai no hate made ItteQ, but this will be his first time going to Brazil. Tegoshi will be staying in Brazil for the duration of the tournament, and he comments: "Brazil is a country that any soccer fan would love to visit at least once, and I want to experience firsthand how soccer plays a part in the everyday life of Brazilians. I'm looking forward to a lot of things, like joining street soccer when the cameras are not rolling.".

MAN WITH A MISSION applauded for their initiative to help out a fan

The band MAN WITH A MISSION has gifted the son of a fan whose towel was stolen during their show.

A fan tweeted about his son's limited edition MWAM towel getting stolen from him during the band's concert. The fan tweeted "Give it back", which was retweeted numerous times, as other fans showed their support and said "Unforgivable!" and "Give it back to the poor kid!".

And on the 28th, MWAM's official Twitter account reacted to this and tweeted to the fan: "Nice to meet you! We have followed you back so please send us a private message with your address and the name of your son! Please allow us to send this beloved comrade of ours something (￢з￢)", to which the fan replied: "As I got up this morning, the wolves said that they will be helping me out (laughs)".

Upon knowing this, fans applauded the band with comments like "That's these amazing wolves for you!", "Damn, so cool!", and "This made me teary-eyed". The fan expressed his gratitude to the band, as well as the other fans who sent him their support.

Band member Tokyo Tanaka has given his thoughts about the importance of the fans' manners at concerts. "To everyone who will be attending our concerts, please do not forget to show concern towards all our other comrades who are sharing the same time and space with you. Other than that, I think you're all allowed to live freely.".

V6's Ken Miyake learning sign language for a deaf girl who came to the handshake event

V6's Ken Miyake expressed his regrets in dealing with a fan. Miyake, who has been appointed as the "navigator" in NHK's new program Minna no Shuwa (beginning on April 6), was in Shibuya's NHK for the presscon of the program.

Miyake revealed that he has studied how to do sign language because: "A deaf girl came to our handshake event, and she tried to converse with me through sign language. I couldn't understand it all, and I didn't know how to respond. That, for me, was a regret.". After that, he attended a once-a-week, 2 hours per session course to specifically learn sign language.

When Miyake was asked what the other members thought about this, he commented: "The other members knew that I was learning sign language, and they congratulated me on getting this project". He also received heartwarming comments from fans such as, "I'll also study sign language thanks to this".

He also voiced out the trouble that he's been experiencing with the filming and says: "Sign language is very limited, and I'm always having difficulty in choosing the appropriate Japanese words for the signs." Finally, his message to the viewers: "It'll be difficult for the viewers if they start thinking, 'I have to study! I have to study!', so I think that it's important to enjoy yourself while learning".

I just filed a lawsuit on 1/21. I brought up various facts, but the bottomline here is that I want to prove in this trial that they (AKS) have a relatively evil business model by forcing the member to treat the fans who have become extremely close friends with the member harshly so that the fans will change their "oshi".

By the way, I spilled the beans about the wrongdoings of Hitachi, but I still got dismissed for disciplinary reasons, and previously filed this lawsuit:

TMR Takanori Nishikawa talks passionately about anime at "Anime Mirai 2014"

The Agency for Cultural Affairs' animator development project Anime Mirai 2014 had a talk show on the 22nd, as the event's public relations ambassador T.M. Revolution - Takanori Nishikawa was on hand to talk about and discuss the future possibilities of anime.

The Anime Mirai project, which kicked off in 2010, called for original animated features from anime production houses within the country. The 4 companies which were selected will then proceed to develop their animators with potential for the future and create an original short-featured anime. This year, Ultra Super Pictures, A-1 Pictures, Shinei Animation, and STUDIO4℃ were chosen, and are currently working diligently on the project.

Nishikawa, a huge anime fan, talked about Kuro no su -Chronos-, which is animator Naoyuki Onda's first shot at directing an anime: "Onda-san has worked on the animation for all these historical animes from Sunrise. Of the recent ones, I especially loved Psycho-Pass. It was a work of art.". As Nishikawa started to talk in detail about the anime, Nishikawa told the people in attendance who were not able to follow his talk: "I'm getting so happy and worked up just talking about anime. You guys are too quiet!".

An Arashi fan threatens to set the Prime Minister's official residence on fire

Another "Arashic/Arasick" has caused trouble again after an alleged Satoshi Ohno fan threatened to set the Prime Minister's residence on fire.

The fan's reason for this is:
"Prime Minister Abe is a Miku Hatsune fan. Japan will turn into an anime kingdom at this rate".

This reasoning is hard to comprehend, but it seemed like this person was serious. She tweeted her feelings in the morning of the 23rd, the day of her alleged execution.

* Early morning of the 23rd:
"Today is D-day... I'm seriously getting a bit nervous... But I'm doing this for the sake of Japan." 
"VS Arashi airs today...I have to execute this until that time comes..."

A lot of netizens were quick to report her to the authorities, and she tweeted that she's given up her plan by 9 in the morning.

"When I told Satoshi about my plan, he told me to stop... I don't want to make Satoshi sad so I won't set it on fire anymore... Everyone in Japan, sorry..."

It seems that the plan has fallen through, but these tweets are still terrorist threats, aimed at Prime Minister Abe at that, and may lead to grave charges.
