Hikari Ohta of Bakusho Mondai expressed his disgust at the upcoming World Cup festivities on his radio show JUNK Bakusho Mondai Cowboy (TBS Radio).

Ohta started it off by saying: "Uhmmm, so yeah, they had this event yesterday for the World Cup, right?", referring to the announcement of the 23 players going to Brazil to represent Japan.

Ohta continued: "That one's turning up to be one heckuva noisemaker, right?" "I'm not interested in it all, though." "Seriously... I'm already feeling depressed at the thought of the World Cup".

His partner Yuji Tanaka said: "I guess that's true with you Ohta-san. It starts in about a month from now", to which Ohta responded: "Ugh, just thinking about that disgusting fanfare and noise that comes with it...".

Tanaka proceeded to explain that the World Cup will be held in Brazil, meaning that the games will be played in the morning so there won't be too much commotion at night, but Ohta comments: "Seriously, I'm getting the doldrums... Just the mood of it, like how everyone will go 'Ehhhh---!? You didn't watch the game!?' and 'Uwaaaa!!'."
"Why should I sympathize with you on something like that! Even if I did watch the games, I wouldn't share my feelings with you!"

Toma Ikuta and Nao of Maximum the Hormone caught walking hand in hand by FRIDAY

Johnny's actor Toma Ikuta and Maximum the Hormone drummer Nao were caught holding hands by FRIDAY, which has led to cheers and applause from Maximum the Hormone fans.

FRIDAY's May 30 issue published an article titled "Toma Ikuta had a drink with married drummer Nao of Maximum the Hormone and had a romantic night as they held each other's hand". After having food and drinks at a restaurant, the pair held each other's hand and went to a park one late night.

Nao is married and a mother of a one-year-old kid. It would be a huge problem if they actually have a serious relationship, but Ikuta has been known to be a passionate "Harapeko" (Hormone fan) and has been close friends with the band members for a while now. Nao herself laughed off the allegations and insisted that they're just friends.

Ikuta's fans might be having a hard time swallowing this report, but the other Harapekos are having a blast, as some Twitter comments say: "ROFLMAO! Nao-san, amazing!", "Can't hold in my laughter for big sis Nao's FRIDAY debut wwwwww", "Nao-san!!!! (LOL) Maybe I should buy my first ever issue of FRIDAY w".

The band's guitarist and Nao's younger brother Maximum the Ryo-kun commented on Twitter: "We've been causing a lot of commotion. Hormone is currently having an emergency meeting.".

V6's Go Morita discovered to be having a relationship with an AV starlet (Shuukan Josei)

Last week's issue of Josei Seven reported that V6's Go Morita is in a relationship with "an ex-gravure model who hails from Hokkaido", but the current issue of Shuukan Josei has reported that he is cohabiting with popular AV starlet Alice Miyuki.

According to Seven's article last week, Morita met up with a woman at a tonkatsu restaurant after his theater rehearsals and went on to a nearby movie house to watch Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind which was shown for 3 days only. The magazine published pictures of the two and said that they have been together for a year now -- even going to Miyakojima for a holiday and shopped for interior goods at a new furniture shop -- without revealing the identity of the woman.

"Seven is known to have a good working relationship with Johnny's, and there's a possibility that they deliberately chose not to disclose the details about the partner. However, some people on the Internet assumed from the pictures that this was Miyuki, and evidence was found on Miyuki's Twitter account that she indeed had a date with Morita. Shuukan Josei published an article with pictures of the two walking the dog and of Miyuki coming out of Morita's apartment. When the journalist ambushed the two as they came back home, Morita denied the relationship but said: "Wait a second, I won't run away." "You can use my picture, and I don't mind you publishing my name in the article, but just keep her out of this since there'll be a lot of complications", probably thinking about the bashing that she will be receiving from his fans.

"Johnny's and Shuukan Josei are on bad terms, and it's a rarity for a Johnny's talent to even give proper answers to the publication, but that just goes to show how much he wanted to defend Miyuki. Hello! Pro idol group ℃-ute recently tried their hand at pole dancing but was met with dissatisfaction from a lot of their fans. It looks like idol fans are not too excited about steamy performances.

℃-ute's 2014 spring concert tour ℃-ute no honne kicked off at the Gotanda U-Port Hall in Tokyo, and the digest of their first show was featured on Hello! Pro's YouTube original program Hello! Sute (station).

Members Saki Nakajima (20) and Mai Hagiwara (18) danced on the poles for their song "Crazy kanzen na otona". Other members Maimi Yajima (22), Airi Suzuki (19), and Chisato Okai (19) performed on the steps set up on the stage.

Wearing black shiny tops with their navels exposed and skimpy bottoms, Nakajima and Hagiwara proceeded to wrap their bodies around the poles and even spread their legs open. The remaining three members sported hats similar to police hats and would sit down on the steps and caress their thighs.

Nakajima and Hagiwara commented on this within the program and said, "We discussed the moves with sensei and trained hard for a month", but there seems to be quite a number of fans who are not pleased with this.

YouTube's comments section have mixed reactions, with some saying, "So cool!", "I couldn't help ogling at this", while others have said, "Is this a strip show or something?", "It's nice that they're trying something new, but I'm not digging the skimpy outfit and dance routine...", "No matter how you turn this around, this performance is just trying to sexually entice the fans. I'm not too sure if idols need to go to this extent to emphasize their sex appeal.", "I feel it's such a waste that ℃-ute has to resort to cheap and indecent things like this. These girls can surely take others on with their natural and fresh sexiness...".

Hello! Pro previously had a sexy group V-u-den, which had ex-Morning Musume Rika Ishikawa as a member. They were known for their bunny girl costumes and chair dances. There was also a time when Maki Goto started wrapping herself around a mic stand during a concert, reminiscent of a pole dance. And needless to say that some fans criticized those antics as well.

On Day 1 of the World Figure Skating Championships, Men's short program, the "Ice Prince", Yuzuru Hanyu (19) fell after his quadruple spin toe loop and started off the Men's short program with 91.24 points, ranking in at 3rd for the day. Sochi Olympics 5th placer Tatsuki Machida (24) broke his personal best with a score of 98.21. Takahiko Kozuka (25), who skated in place of the injured Daisuke Takahashi (28), scored 85.64 and ranked 6th.

The event seemed like an idol concert. Right before Hanyu's performance, a group of girls screamed, "Yuzu, we love you~!", which awkwardly cued his music "Parisienne Walkways". He made a mistake in his specialty, the quadruple toe loop, as he lacked revolutions and made a mistake in his landing. The "Ice Prince" went on to recover and made a combination of a triple axel and a 3-3 spin, but only smiled wryly after his performance. The 91.24 points is far below his world record score of 101.45, and his noble face seemingly turned askew as he heard the score being announced.

"I heard the cheers (prior to the performance), but that didn't really affect my performance. I came in here, probably too overconfident and slightly lacked focus because I know I didn't make any mistakes in the SP routine. I can't say that I'm happy with this at all, and I am angry at myself. I really can't forgive myself."

L'Arc~en~Ciel's 2 Kokuritsu concert dates immediately get sold out

Rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel's concert tickets for March 21 and 22 at Tokyo's Kokuritsu Kyogijō went on sale at 10 am on March 9 and sold out in an instant. 

L'Arc's last concert at the Kokuritsu was the finale of their 20th Anniversary World Tour in 2012, which was attended by a total of 110,000 people over 2 days. This month's shows break that record as 1 day has an 80,000 crowd capacity, making it 160,000 in total.

Their previous concert had a marching band reminiscent of an Olympics opening ceremony, complete with the lighting of the Olympic torch, and had over 1,000 fireworks on display. The gimmicks for this month's shows are expected to surpass those of the previous one.

The concerts this month will be simulcast live in cinemas around Japan, as well as in England, France, the US, Mexico, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Live viewing tickets will start to go on sale from the noon of the 16th onwards.

Singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (21) replied to someone who has been causing disturbance on her Twitter account. A supposed Johnny's fan has kept on telling her to, "Keep your hands off them!" (The one she replied to reads, "Are you making advances to Kis-my-Ft2 now? Keep your hands off Arashi, Kanjani8, Kis-my-Ft2, and Yuya Tegoshi!"), to which she replied, "Eh, I've never done such a thing...", and explained that she just greets the other talents when she sees them.

Kyary reads her fans' replies but says that there's one person who keeps on posting the exact same comment over and over. She normally ignores such comments or blocks the horrible ones, but there was one who kept on making new accounts no matter how many times she has tried to block the user, and so she says, "I replied for the first time and said 'Hello there'.".

The Slopestyle Snowboard event has been newly added to the Winter Olympics this year, as 17-year-old snowboarder Yuki Kadono finished 8th. "I have no regrets. I've given it my all."

These athletes actually listen to music using their earphones as they make their runs in the actual event. Kadono was in fact listening to Momoiro Clover Z songs for the prelims and the first round of the finals.

Kadono has previously delared that he's a MomoClo fan. Another famous "mononofu", or MomoClo fan, in the world of sports is Masahiro Tanaka who's now taking his first step in his major league career with the New York Yankees. Tanaka used MomoClo's song "Hashire!" as his entrance song last season, and won 24 games without recording a single loss in the regular season. He was even invited as a guest judge on NHK's Kouhaku Uta Gassen last year.

There's also female figure skater Fumie Suguri, who was even invited over to MomoClo's Christmas concert as a guest performer. She wasn't able to participate in the Sochi Olympics, but she comments on Twitter: "MomoClo saved me. I now have dreams and aspirations. I am grateful for this encounter.".

There must be something in common among the athletes and MomoClo who are always thinking positively and give their all towards their huge goal.

The anticipated worst case scenario has become a reality, and I feel like throwing up after Daisuke-san's pain and suffering is being shown right in front of me. Everyone ganged up against him, shoved him into a corner, and against all the odds, he still performed his heart out. This once again makes me realize how strong of a human being Daisuke Takahashi is. He was probably a hindrance to all those dirty people.

The Japan Skating Federation has hurt Daisuke Takahashi over and over, a miraculous figure skater whom we may never see the likes of again, and has finally forsaken him. But it seems that the people of the world have a better eye for skating.

Police needed for crowd control after someone revealed that Shun Oguri was at a yakiniku restaurant

One night last January, Shun Oguri (31) was seen at a yakiniku restaurant in Fukuoka Prefecture's Kokura. The shop, which will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in the near future, has no private rooms and only has 6 tables that can seat 4 persons each. The quality of the meat and the taste of the food have very high reputations, so the restaurant is always full, even as it opens.

"Oguri-san was on location in Kokura at that time for a drama shoot, and set out for dinner with the staff and his co-actors." - (TV station staff)

The group enjoyed their makgeolli, kalbis, and innards, but eyewitness reports quickly spread out on Twitter.

A local resident comments, "I heard from my friend that Oguri-kun was here and invited me to go and see him. It was about 10 in the evening but I immediately went to the place, but there were already about 50 people there.".

Despite it being in the freezing winter night, there were a lot of men and women in pajamas, and even a young mother with her baby outside the store, hoping to catch a glimpse of the star. There were even a number of taxis filled with fans parked outside.

"The restaurant staff said that they didn't want to bother the neighbors so they asked the people to leave, but no one did. Oguri-san had to film some scenes the following day, but couldn't even leave the restaurant... Apparently, the female manager of the shop was furious with the fans. Takeru Sato sends Taiwanese girls into a frenzy... Taiwan premiere of Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteiru

Actor Takeru Sato (24) received a warm reception in Taiwan as he was in attendance for the premiere of the movie Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteiru. This is his second time in Taiwan; the first was 1 year and 2 months ago. Local fans were hugged by Sato, and he comments that he would someday want to "fight" in a foreign movie. 

200 Taiwanese fans greeted him at the airport as he arrived on the morning of the 7th, as some got in taxis to follow Sato's car and find out where he was staying. People even followed him from the premiere event on the 8th to his dining place, all the way back to the airport to send him off. The premiere event sold out all 650 seats in 3 minutes.
