Takeru Sato sends Taiwanese girls into a frenzy... Taiwan premiere of Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteiru

Actor Takeru Sato (24) received a warm reception in Taiwan as he was in attendance for the premiere of the movie Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteiru. This is his second time in Taiwan; the first was 1 year and 2 months ago. Local fans were hugged by Sato, and he comments that he would someday want to "fight" in a foreign movie.

200 Taiwanese fans greeted him at the airport as he arrived on the morning of the 7th, as some got in taxis to follow Sato's car and find out where he was staying. People even followed him from the premiere event on the 8th to his dining place, all the way back to the airport to send him off. The premiere event sold out all 650 seats in 3 minutes.

When these actors say "foreign" or "international", it's mostly just in Asia.
If it's Hollywood, they'll say "Hollywood" w

Taiwanese women are really swell.
You can tell especially if you watch their dramas and on-location filmings.

Was this movie a hit in Japan?
Seeing that there are no reports after it was shown must mean that it flopped, right? w

It'd be funny if it's lower than the Kamen Rider movie

It grossed \1.7 billion at the box office so it wasn't a flop. It wasn't a huge hit neither.

You can call a movie a hit if it grosses over 1 billion.
But movies like Umizaru, Odoru, and Thermae that gross over 5 billion in this age are what miracles are made of.

Same thinking as me. It's not a huge hit, but it was still a hit.
Eien no Zero on the other hand has exceeded 7 billion so it's a miracle.

The movie's from Amuse so even if it's badly attended, they'll still report that it became a huge hit

Movies that are based on manga and anime are unexpectedly popular overseas.
But a Taiwanese whom I know of asked, "Is this girl really a celebrity?", when he saw Mikako Tabe in the live action version of Kimi ni Todoke.

Even non-Taiwanese people would think that way. Rather, doesn't Tabe kinda look Chinese?
She may be visually like the people there, but she's probably on their lowest level.

Did he lose weight?
I'm scared of his bulging eyes.
I hope he returns to how he was in Tonbi.

I thought that he was too skinny in Tonbi. He looked best in Rookies.
This can also be said for Hiroshi Tamaki, but why do these guys need to look so much more haggard than necessary.

I actually don't think that they have to.
They can just hire an interpreter.
They'd even be helping employment.
Hire an interpreter, hire a bodyguard, and hire a driver.
If you hire the local people then you'd be helping with their employment.

I have this theory that there are a lot of ikemens and beautiful women in Saitama.
It's because of it's geographic location, it's easy for the blood of the Kanto people to mix in with the blood of the Touhoku people.

I get you.
Tatsuya Fujiwara and Takeru Sato have unique faces.
If you're talking about the Kanto face without Touhoku blood, you have these guys like KimuTaku, Sorimachi, and Masato.

It's natural for the Japanese to set their sights on Taiwan since there are a lot of pro-Japanese groups there.
It's more unnatural to even consider going to countries that hate Japan.

He was apparently a very studious student in Jr. High.
But once you know how Sato has taken the easy way in his career as an actor, you'd become a bit more appreciative of guys like Tori Matsuzaka and Osamu Mukai who took the long way and went through a lot to reach the place where they are now.

Especially Tori Matsuzaka, he was bullied because of his name, and you can tell that he increased his qualities as an actor by reading a lot of books back then.
