松田勇作の時も全部見たわけではないけど
無表情からいきなりビンタかますシーンとか、
色々と変な家庭教師だな～っ不気味だな～ていう奇妙で異様な感じをＴＶからも感じてたが
昨日の桜井バージョンは、ただ桜井が演技してるソレ位しか感じなかった。
変な行動しても、別に異様にも変にも見えないという。

I didn't watch all the episodes of Yusaku Matsuda's version but there really was this eerie aura coming out of him from like scenes where he had a blank look on his face then he suddenly slaps someone. The creepiness of the tutor he played was really believable. Sakurai's version on the other hand, felt like he was just trying to act the role. Even if he was supposedly doing something strange, it didn't look that strange at all.

次はＡＫＢあたりでやるのか？ってＳＭＡＰ香取のドラマに前田敦子が居た。

Oscar Promotion's Yonekura's "35 year old highschool student" is also about bullying. This one is also about bullying, then would AKB be doing the same stuff next? Oh right, Maeda's in Katori's drama right?

If they wanted to make it like Matsuda's version, then probably Kanjani's Nishikido or Matsu Ken (Kenichi Matsuyama)

If they wanted to make it like Nagabuchi's version, then Nagase or that bucktoothed one from London Hearts

I understand that feeling.

I thought my TV's volume was broken during the silence at the beginning of the drama.

I never got to see Matsuda's version, but was it as boring as this?

長渕松田も観た世代だが、過去作品と比べてる人は楽しめなくて当然だよ
内容が内容だけに、その時々の社会や風潮に合った展開や雰囲気になるから比べても仕方ないと思う

今回も現代の若者や学生に向けた内容だろうし、それを考えたら櫻井でもまあ良かったと思う
あの何ともな演技力が、逆に狂気感や二面性が出てたしｗｗ
櫻井は長丁場の台詞や演技だとエンジンが掛かっていいと思ったよ、最後のリビングでのマジキチ感は面白くもあったし見入った

I'm from the generation who watched both Nagabuchi's and Matsuda's versions but it's just natural that you won't get to enjoy this if you're comparing it to the past ones. There's no point in comparing it in the first place since the social trend and problems are different during each of those times, which will definitely affect the theme and the atmosphere of the drama. I think that this version is directed more towards the younger generation and the students, so I believe that Sho Sakurai isn't a miscast. Actually, his dull-looking acting actually turned for the good as it made him look much more insane and bipolar. I thought he was on his game for this one, especially when saying long lines. His insanity in that last scene in the living room was actually pretty good, and I was drawn into that part.

I think this drama got off to a double digit start due to the legacy of its predecessor but I believe that it will settle down just like the 2012 GTO remake. The family act this time was totally wrong in all aspects.
