デビューいきなりドコモのCMとか胡散臭すぎるだろ

CMも爽やかなスポーツ少女アピールであざとかった

当時同世代の高校生だったけどどうせ電通のマッチポンプだと思って冷ややかに見てたよ

It was really fishy how she immediately got to appear in a Docomo commercial right after her debut.
Even how she was trying to portray her image as this refreshing sports girl was so unscrupulous.
I was a highschooler just like her at the time and just looked down on her, thinking that she was just this drama queen inserted by Dentsuu to stir up some controversy.

There were even some people raising their doubts if Hirosue really was cute back then. There was also a special article in one of the picture magazines at that time about that. But they did come to the conclusion that she was cute.

デビュー直後から大学合格までは大好きだったが大学合格で急速で冷めた。今でもかわいいと思うけど

I loved her from the time she debuted all the way to her college graduation, but it all quickly cooled down after her graduation. I still think she's cute though.

but it wasn't as if she sold tons of CDs like Namie Amuro
or starred in numerous dramas and got high ratings like Nanako Matsushima.
She really didn't have any achievements so it is pretty odd.
