A new Johnny's group, "Johnny's WEST 4", will be making their CD debut within the year, as announced at the Johnny's Countdown Live. The members are B.A.D.'s Junta Nakama (26) and Akito Kiriyama (24), together with 7WEST's Daiki Shigeoka (21) and Nozomu Kotaki (17), all members of Kansai Johnny's Jr. The 3 members except for Kotaki announced, "We will be having a CD debut!", at the annual event.
Even their staff and representatives were not informed that they would announce the debut and said, "It was decided only 30 minutes ago!", as the handwritten name of the group was revealed to the fans in attendance. The details about the date of their debut, as well as the debut song, have not been announced yet. This is the first time for a Johnny's unit to debut a CD since Sexy Zone on November 16, 2011.
