The morning program ZIP! started in April 2011, and Mokomichi has been a part of it since its inception, showing up right before 8 am in his corner "MOCO's Kitchen". Ranging from Western cuisine to Japanese, his original creations, as well as viewer requests, he has already featured over 700 recipes to date.
He says that he has always liked cooking and taking pictures of it since he was small, and has started taking notes of his recipes thanks to this program. "I try to imagine the food that I eat outside and add my personal twists, and also show the food that I have personally invented. We broadcast everyday from Monday to Friday so I've been trying to come up with recipes using different ingredients so that the viewers won't get tired."
His overusage of olive oil and other spices and additives has also become an Internet sensation: "I just love olive oil, plain and simple. I'm actually surprised that everyone's shocked at how much olive oil I use even though I personally think I'm just using it normally.

"Ever since the program started, a lot of people have shown their support. I get really happy when I touch other people with my cooking, especially when I receive messages such as, 'We serve your recipes at parties', or 'My children and husband enjoyed the dish I got from you'."

- Mokomichi also told a story about someone who talked to him at the supermarket the other day and told him: "The way you used olive oil this morning was amazing!". He says that he stores 30 bottles of olive oil in his house.
He is also busy with his drama filming, and says: "When I get home, I just grab a frying pan and make something while washing something else. It's not really that difficult. I'm also planning on making sweets next time when I go filming for the drama".
"The program is shown in the morning so I'm always trying to consciously make the dishes as flamboyant and as colorful as possible. Making it brightly gives more smiles to everyone, and I hope that the program will help make the viewers more cheerful and energetic as they set out for office or to school.
He is a tall ikemen, but he is not intimidating at all.
