This is a different version of their new song "ray" which is included in their latest album titled [RAY]. Digital versions went on sale at the same time the album was released, and got 1st in the iTunes Store ranking. This collaboration has attracted the attention of music fans and Japanese pop culture fans alike.
The official website has also posted an interview with the band members as to how this collaboration happened. Hatsune Miku's official YouTube channel has uploaded a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the video.
No one would even notice these guys even if you pass by all of them at the same time when walking around town
I had an image that they hated these kinds of things
I feel like it's been a while since I saw their name.
Rather, they've fallen so much, huh w
That's much better than what I was expecting
This is true with Hatsune Miku and MomoClo,
but I get this impression that all these other major artists and celebrities are just saying that they approve of these girls so they can say that:
"See? We can also understand this new kind of culture!".
Isn't that kinda annoying?
If these artists really like this stuff, then go utilize them minus these business aspects.
That would actually make me go "BUMP's amazing!". But it's so obvious that they're just being forced to do this collaboration.
No one will be happy with this kind of business tie-up.
I will be offering my virginity to Hatsune Miku-san
BUMP's an otaku-like band after all so this feels pretty natural
O-----i BUMP come back ( ；´Д｀)
Isn't BUMP actually a gathering of otaku guys?
They like manga, anime, and games so it won't be a surprise even if they've actually been listening to Hatsune Miku from way back.
If people of this level are doing these sort of things with Hatsune Miku, then we amateurs would lose hope
Are their fans alright with this?
It does feel like that these people have always been wotas, though.
I really don't know any other song than "Tentai Kansoku".
No, I don't even know if they have singles other than that.
So now they're depending on the Kimo-otas because they can't sell anymore
ミスチル 福山 サザンの次ぐらいに売れてんじゃねえの？
When you remove the idols and Exiles, I think their sales will just be next to
MisChil, Fukuyama and Southern All Stars, right?
Fujiwara: "Miku Hatsune is my wife"
I like Bump, and I like Miku, but this pairing looks off to me.
Their voices just don't compliment each other at all.
I'm digging this.
I like how the vocaloid's inorganic voice is being neutralized.
Haven't they declared that they're otakus since way back?
I don't know their recent songs, but I loved their earlier ones.
AruE = RA = Rei Ayanami
I tried to give this a go, and it's pretty good
She's the world class Miku-san, you know.
If you're talking about their standing, then it's totally Miku-san > BUMP.
I'm a Bump fan, but I'm actually moved by this collaboration with Hatsune Miku!
I tried listening to it, and it was surprisingly good
Hm, good utilization of resources
Fuji-kun's an Ai Takahashi-wota and an Ayanami-wota. And now, he'll also get into Miku-san.
There seems to be people getting the wrong idea here, but Miku Hatsune's just an instrument.
It's just natural to use the proper instrument that will suit the song.
Eh? This isn't supposed to be surprising, or a shock to fans, right?
It's definitely something that Fujiwara would think of.
They should've done this 3 years ago.
This feels a bit too outdated.
No one's talking about the tune creator KZ-san.
To think that this guy's supposed to be the main person here.
I saw the PV, but I'm not sure what to feel about the outcome.
It's like they just slapped on the 2 different elements there, without resulting in any synergy effect, nor any harmony.
The song is super boring
When he wrote songs for Tales, he didn't just write the main theme song, he gave it his best by even writing a song for the last boss and all
There's also the regular version minus Hatsune Miku so I don't get why people would be bashing this.
If you don't like it, then don't listen to it.
I get the feeling that BUMP's musical direction is getting younger and younger
BUMP really is nice
If it was just a collaboration between Perfume and Hatsune Miku...
Doesn't look like it has any merits for either BUMP or Miku since the song isn't that good
10位.「ray」 BUMP OF CHICKEN
So this one is ranked higher, huh....
BUMP has an otaku image thanks to the Ayanami (Evangelion) song, as well as the songs for One Piece and Tales so this doesn't feel awkward at all w
