Maki Horikita was interviewed by the media in her stage dress for the play 9 Days Queen at Tokyo's Akasaka ACT Theater on the 25th. She seems to have taken a liking to the dress, commenting that "It's so pretty, cute, and wonderful. It's not that extravagant, and I like how it's slightly laid back.". This is the first time for Horikita to return as the lead character in a stage play after over 3 years, following her role in Jeanne d'Arc back in 2010. She comments, "I have not been a very good leader...", to which Kamikawa responded, "This is of course, not true. She's just being humble. She does not waver. And that unwavering stance leads to stability and security, and she is a wonderful role model for the rest of us". The stage play will run at the above venue from February 26 to March 16.
