Kazuya Kamenashi to star in the drama adaptation of Tokyo Bandwagon

The drama (title undecided), based on Yukiya Shoji's Tokyo Bandwagon series, is set to begin in October on NTV. This will be Kamenashi's first lead role in 2 years after Yokai Ningen Bem, which got 18.9% on its first episode. This is also the first time that he will be taking part in a 'home drama', playing the role of Ao Hotta. He comments:
"I hope to depict the kind of family and human relations here which will make everyone think that having a family sure is wonderful."
"I am really looking forward to meeting my new family here."
"I am ecstatic, and feeling a good amount of pressure that I have been given the chance to participate in this project as the lead."
The Tokyo Bandwagon series was voted as "the No.1 novel that you would like to see on film" in 2009.

この原作一作目しか読んでないが、設定がどうも受け付けない
本にまつわるミステリーも取ってつけたみたいだし
みすず＝すずみは結構不気味だと思う
勘一は山崎努がピッタリだと思う
I was only able to read the first installment of the novel, but I seriously can't accept the scenario. Even the mystery surrounding the book felt like it was added there unnaturally. It's also pretty eerie that Misuzu = Suzumi. I think Tsutomu Yamazaki would be perfect for the role of Kanichi.

右肩下がりだったから仕方ないけどさ
無理やり褒めている感じが逆に強調されるんですけどwww

I guess it couldn't be helped since it just went downhill from that.
But it feels like they're forcibly trying to praise it, but it makes that fact stick out like a sore thumb LOL

Nah, I think that's unrelated. KAT-TUN is said to be a part of Arashi's faction, but Arashi still appears in Fuji's dramas.

まあ、真面目で礼儀正しいし嫌いじゃないが役作りしないんだろうね。
髪型とかもいつもの感じなのかなあ。全くビジュアルがそのまんまってのがなあ。
He looks serious and polite, I don't dislike him but that might only be his persona.
His hairstyle always looks the same. I really don't know about his looks staying as is for a while now.

MOCO’Sキッチンのおかげでスッキリや午前の番組まで数字引き上げて視聴率貢献してるんだし
If NTV's letting Kamenashi play the lead, they should also give one to Mokomichi.
