きゃりーのファンってほとんど女性だから
相手がイメージダウンにつながるようなのじゃない限り堂々と
交際宣言しても・・・と思ったけど、その相手側のファンが
ネックみたいね。なんつーか一種の新興宗教みたいなくらい
陶酔してるファンのつぶやき見てゾッとした。
I initially thought that there won't be a problem even if Kyary admits their relationship as long as it won't harm the image of her partner since most of her fans are female anyways... But it seems that the partner's fans are the problem here. I saw some tweets of his fans, I got the chills since it was like some sort of religious following.

PVも同じような絵ばっかりで区別がつかない
もう飽きた
I thought she was interesting, but all her songs are pretty similar, and her music videos also look the same. I can't distinguish them anymore from one another. I'm getting tired of her.

Look at the AKB members, having boyfriends doesn't necessarily lead to the decline in their popularity. I think it's just the agencies' way of staying away from troublesome and harmful relations. She was foolish to say something like she isn't an idol and everyone is free to have a relationship.
