They've gotten pretty popular since they've been used on TV commercials too.
And YouTube's view count increases whenever you repeat the song, refresh the page, or listen to it everyday so I don't think the number of views is really that questionable.

The drum parts are really challenging when you try to play their songs.
And there are tons of songs where the vocalist uses a high-C pitch, I think his singing ability's on a pretty high level.

Mixing Japanese in together with English is what makes ONE OK good.
You see some Japanese bands singing the entire song in English, right? That's no good.
