Junichi Okada goes bald for the movie "Eien no Zero"

The movie adaptation of the novel Eien no Zero will be shown on December 21.
Actors Junichi Okada, Haruma Miura, Mao Inoue, director Takashi Yamazaki, and novelist Naoki Hyakuta attended the completion press-con on July 22. Okada shaved his head for the role of Miyabe, a Zero fighter plane pilot.
When Okada was asked about going bald:
"I already knew that I had to go bald the moment they let me play the role of Miyabe, so there's really nothing much to say about it... But since everyone's been asking me about it, maybe you guys can say that this is how I express my spirit."

向井理とか松山ケンイチとか小栗旬のほうが合うと思う。

I hope they stop using these modern-looking ikemen actors for war movies.
I think people like Osamu Mukai, Kenichi Matsuyama, or Shun Oguri would have suited the role better.

If you're going to be a character actor, then he should expect that he'd have to go bald, and he's not supposed to be talking about the spirit.

I do believe that having teeth removed and gaining 20 pounds for a role is really amazing.
