Yoshitaka will be playing the role of Hanako Muraoka, translator of the novel Akage no Anne (Anne of Green Gables).
Yoshitaka: "I honestly haven't read it yet... I was given the book earlier and thought that it was thick."
"I'm sweating due to nervousness. I'm worried if I can become the 'face of mornings'."
Amuse has Masaharu Fukuyama and Southern All Stars at the top, and "the executives have been trying to develop a young actress that will become the face of Amuse for a few years now".
Juri Ueno, Riisa Naka, and Yuriko Yoshitaka were made to compete for that spot.
Juri Ueno had the first chance when she starred in NHK's Taiga drama Gou ~ Himetachi no Sengoku in 2011, but it was reported that she had a bad attitude on set and clashed with her co-stars, which drastically reduced her roles once the drama came to an end.
Naka and Yoshitaka were then pit against each other, but the liberated Naka got into a relationship with Tadanobu Asano, which eventually led to a breakup. After some time, she was reported to be pregnant and got married to the baby's father, Akiyoshi Nakao.
Yoshitaka was the only one left and didn't let her chance slip by.
Ueno, Naka, Yoshitaka, huh. I can't really tell if Amuse's scouting ability is good or not.
You guys should also remember Kaoru Hirata every once in a while...
This face LOL
Ueno will get her revenge once things settle down.
Naka had good potential, such a waste. She just didn't have an eye for men.
Ueno really has declined.
She almost has no jobs, nor exposure since that Taiga drama.
Her fall sure is unearthly.
Amuse seems like they have a shortage of talents.
I don't think there are men who find Yoshitaka cute at all.
I think the only ones calling her cute are the ugly female commoners.
Since when has she become the poster girl LOL
Why do all these Amuse actresses seem so risky. Even Yoshitaka seems like she's up to something.
This agency's president is a naturalized Korean, and is the one who's actually pushing for the Korean wave that isn't even popular to begin with. I don't want a talent agency that's run by a naturalized Korean!!
I think she's a blend of cuteness and individualism.
Yoshitaka's a good one among all these boring actresses.
Ueno was a victim for having to be carried like that by a shi++y Taiga drama
- ＞ そこで競わせたのが、同世代の上野樹里、仲里依紗、そして吉高
> Juri Ueno, Riisa Naka, and Yuriko Yoshitaka were made to compete for that spot.
True, these 3 do have distinct qualities to them.
Which means she got to be the poster girl through elimination process
Juri Ueno, Riisa Naka, Yuriko Yoshitaka
Ayame Gouriki, Emi Takei, Shiori Kutsuna
There are much better ones, right?
- ガリレオの刑事役酷かった・・。 まぁ、相手が大根福山だし、ちょうどいいかもしれないけどね。
She was horrible as a detective in Galileo... Well, her partner was the ham actor Fukuyama so it might have been just right.
I don't think Ueno was at fault for that Taiga drama. It was the scriptwriting's fault for making someone of that age play a fairy-like role. Maybe it could have been saved if they used a real child actress for that role... or maybe not. Galileo's popularity on the other hand belongs to Fukuyama, so Yoshitaka's appearance in NHK's serial drama will be her real battle. She's been coming up with hits lately, so if she misses this, I think it'll be over for her.
Yoshitaka was good in Shiroi Haru. But she's the same in whatever role she plays.
To think that Juri Ueno was totally like the central figure in Amuse's disaster charity song. Her hand was even used as Kuwata's microphone. Where did Yuriko Yoshitaka stand at that time?
Yeah, so where is Juri Ueno?
Ueno just has too strong of a character, and there aren't many uses for her.
I think she just can't be used for anything other than roles like that in Nodame Cantabile.
Riisa Naka just looks like a comonner. Yoshitaka might be the most decent one of the 3, but she's not a good actress and her voice is just plain irritating.
Juri Ueno was good in Niji no Megami.
She didn't talk there like Nodame at all.
As for the young male actors of Amuse, there's Yuta Hiraoka, Takeru Sato, and Haruma Miura.
If a person who's liked by the staff is popular then that means that one's ability and looks don't really matter that much, huh.
If Juri Ueno didn't go down like that, she probably would have starred in Yae no Sakura and Amachan. Too bad.
I don't think she's being overhyped like Gouriki, and I do think Yoshitaka's beautiful but she lacks appeal, or "glamour", so to speak.
Ueno seemed like she was mentally weak, while this girl seemed like she couldn't read between the lines. Amuse might not be good at looking for actresses.
I think Ueno and Matsu-Jun's movie will be a hit, so the wind will blow once again in her favor. This was also true for Yoshitaka, but heroines in Johnny's movies are pretty lucky.
Well, I'd rather have her than Takei and Gouriki who just seem fishy in whatever they do
So Ueno lost projects not because of the Taiga flopping, but because of her bad attitude
- 仲里依紗見かけないと思ったらそんな事になってたのかｗI thought I haven't seen Riisa Naka lately, so that's what happened to her?http://s.cinematoday.jp/res/A0/00/25/A0002528-00.jpg
I feel sorry for Ueno who's asked to do similar roles all the time
So did Ueno take a break according to her own will or was she frozen out due to her terrible attitude? But taking a break according to your own will is still counted as part of one's bad attitude in the showbiz world.
But Juri Ueno can only play insane character roles like Nodame
I think both Ueno and Yoshitaka received positive reviews when they were in movies which led to them appearing on TV. They weren't the ones who were forced by the agencies to appear in commercial dramas.
In that sense, people could probably call them as true blue actors as not a lot have been following that pattern recently.
But it's weird that someone as plain and ugly as Ueno was chosen to star in a Taiga drama in the first place
I think Juri Ueno is cute, though
Riisa Naka was at her best in Hachi One Diver
I've only been seeing Juri Ueno in commercials nowadays
Taiga dramas seem to have developed quite a reputation of killing off the lead roles.
Ueno, MatsuKen. Will Ms. Boobie be next?
I think Ayase will still have projects, but the 2 have totally disappeared from the limelight.
Anyway, Yoshitaka at the top? Amuse, your talent pool is too thin.
Juri Ueno was just too perfect as Nodame.
They didn't have a poster girl at that time, but the drama was just so good.
It was like an unprecedented boom.
NHK has changed too.
They've appointed this big-boobed gravure idol Kana Kurashina, and even chose Yuriko Yoshitaka for the lead despite her going full nude in an art, S&M flick.
I do think that Ueno was cool and was good in her role in Last Friends. She also looked good with short hair, she should do more roles like that. Yoshitaka was good in Shiroi Haru, but she was just annoying in Galileo.
Ueno, Naka, and Yoshitaka.
When you put them side by side, you can see that Amuse only has ugly actresses.
But no matter how you think about it, I believe that Eri Fukatsu is supposed to be Amuse's poster girl.
Juri Ueno was praised in Nodame and her lesbian role, but was brought crashing down after that Taiga drama. I think Yoshitaka's similar. People rated her acting skills highly, but she's been criticized in Kaiji 2 and Galileo 2.
If they're just pushing for someone who has no acting skills whatsoever, then they should have at least chosen someone more beautiful. All of them just lack glamour.
