There will not be a single day when you won't see Ayame Gouriki in any sort of medium. A sector of the consumers haven't kept secret as to how much they despise her, so much that even the word "gori-oshi" has stuck with the general public. But what about the staff and other personnel who see and work with her behind the scenes? What is she like in their eyes?

"She's a nice person, but she doesn't have the ratings. The results of Gatchaman, which was shown a while back, was something that you couldn't honestly bear to look at, and all the dramas where she's played the lead role haven't been getting the numbers at all. Even still, she's all over commercials so I'm sure that there are also a lot of people who find her irritating since they're making her look popular, when in fact, she really isn't. I heard that she herself is also pretty concerned about this." - (drama representative)

Her agency Oscar Promotion has been desperately trying to develop Aya Ueto's successor after she got married, as Gouriki and Emi Takei are being cast in roles that seem like they're more than what they can actually handle.

"It can't be helped since that's the strategy of her agency, but when I went to see how Gouriki was doing on the set of Kurokouchi, she was actually eating while she was sleeping.  She would wake up then take a bite out of her food, fall asleep, then wake up again and take another bite. She kept doing the same thing. It looks like her schedule is fully packed as well. Her agency's policy is to make her do a lot of projects in exchange for low talent fees, but I think that it's only a matter of time until she bursts. In that sense, I think that she's also a victim." - (TV related personnel)

It's probably because of how tough she is.
Gouriki's toughness is really amazing.
