When we asked her to look back at this past year, she happily answered without any delay: "Wow, it truly has been a happy and wonderful year. I may have been busy and my schedule was packed, but it was actually fulfilling year. I was happy to see money being deposited into my account and to see those amounts reflected in my bank book. It made me feel that I have been accepted as a member of society".
There was one question which we had to ask this day. We heard that Kahara now has a new "love in her life", which according to the information that our publication has gathered, is that Kahara has been going out with Tsuneyasu Takeda, an instructor at Keio University.

- Mr. Takeda is the great-great-grandchild* of the Emperor Meiji, and the son of the JOC President Tsunekazu Takeda, whose efforts have borne fruit by giving Japan the rights to hold the Olympics. Recently, his books have been becoming best sellers.

So we asked Kahara about this:
You're currently together with Mr. Tsuneyasu Takeda, correct?
Kahara-san seems like she was also prepared to answer these questions.
"It started when we were together on Downtown DX last July. It just so happened that Takeda-kun was beside me during the taping."
The conversation heated up when she disclosed that Mr. Takeda invited her out to a date.
"We arranged a date on a later day, and he knew that my birthday was coming up, so he prepared a surprise for me and celebrated it with me. He gave me a bag that was used fondly by the Emperor Showa."
They continued dating afterwards, and even drove together to Kamakura.
"Up until now, I kept falling blindly in love with my partner, and I gave that person everything I had and lost sight of myself. But Mr. Takeda does everything for me... He is my type. I've always liked slender men with a fair complexion from before, people who were above the rest, and who possess something that no one else has..."
Mr. Takeda also responded to our phone interview and said, "Please look after the two of us". They must have built a steady and healthy relationship. The interview with Tomomi Kahara lasted an hour and a half, with a natural Tomo-chan who was true to herself answering everything. The reporter who has followed Kahara has reaffirmed that no matter where this relationship heads to... Tomomi Kahara is back!
