Recently, it was reported by TouSpo in an article titled "Rena Nounen rejected an offer" on September 30 that a TBS staff said: "We made an offer to 'Amachan' as we believed she can bring in the ratings, but they rejected. 'So it was impossible after all' -- that's how everyone feels now in the station". The article cited that Nounen's camp didn't deem Ando Lloyd as a viable project to succeed Amachan.
Because of this, some people directly asked Ando Lloyd's official Twitter account if they really did make an offer to Rena Nounen.
They wrote on their official Twitter account on the night of October 1:
"We initially thought that there's no point in putting up with that rumor because of how troublesome it will be, but it seems that there are some people who believe the report, so let us just make it clear once and for all that we did not make an offer to Nounen-san. Therefore, she didn't reject us. Nounen-san and staff, sorry about this. And TouSpo web-san, enough of this already".
There was a user who replied to this: "Well, there's no way you'd admit it even if it was true, right? It's a producer's job to spew out lies after all". To this, the account replied: "Don't look down on us". It seems that the staff were really angered by this report.
